Subdivisions

Simple (2 Lots) - $25.00

Minor (3-5 lots) $50.00 Application plus $25 per lot

Major Preliminary Plat (6 or more lots) $250 Application fee plus $50 per lot

Major Final Plat $50.00 per lot

Applicant to pay for all Engineering Services and Surveys ahead of Presentation to the Planning Board

Section B: Penalty for Construction Without a Permit

Pursuant to Town Board Resolution, any person, contractor, or entity found to be constructing, altering, placing, or installing any structure or system listed above without first obtaining a valid building permit shall be subject to the following penalty:

  • Penalty Fee: Double the standard permit fee applicable to the project type and square footage.
  • Retroactive Application: This penalty shall apply retroactively to the date construction commenced.
  • Additional Enforcement: Penalties shall be assessed in addition to any other enforcement actions authorized under Town Law or the New York State Uniform Building and Fire Prevention Code.

Section C: Enforcement Authority

The Code Enforcement Officer is authorized to investigate suspected violations and assess penalties in accordance with this resolution. Appeals may be submitted in writing to the Town Board within thirty (30) days of penalty issuance.

Section D: Effective Date

This amended fee schedule, and resolution shall take effect immediately upon adoption and shall apply to all construction activities initiated on or after that date.
